Leigh Covington


Leigh spent over ten years in the management levels of the restaurant and meeting planning industry. Through this experience she managed a wide variety of people at all different ages. This taught her about people and how they tend to react in different situations, both good and bad.

She has extensive knowledge of training techniques and is a Certified Professional Behavioral and Values Analyst and a Certified Coach Practitioner. Leigh works with clients in leadership training and development through a series of assessments. Through these assessments our participants learn to use their natural strengths in order to become a better leader, leverage their thinking in decision making and ultimately help the company and the individual succeed. Leigh also works with college students to help them with career planning and team development.

Leigh is currently very active in the Workforce Development in the state of Alabama. Leigh and Chesapeake Consulting are working with local manufacturers to ensure they are getting the right people in their facilities so they can be successful and continue to grow.

Leigh has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama and served as President of the National Capital Chapter of the alumni association. She is most recently a certified John Maxwell leader, sits on the Advisory Committee for Sigma Kappa at the University of Alabama, and is Co-Chair of the Women’s Leadership Alliance through the Chamber of Commerce. In 2013 Leigh completed the Leadership Tuscaloosa program along with 39 other local professionals.
